NuShake Roofing is owned by Brian Espindola, who runs it under his own California C-39 license, CSLB #1142280. Brian started in roofing at age 18 as a tear-off crew member. By 20 he was leading a crew. At 21 he moved into sales as a lead salesman. At 23, he earned his own license and took over NuShake as its operating owner. NuShake's owner has done every job on a roofing crew.

Brian Espindola, NuShake's owner, earned his California C-39 contractor license in 2025 and took over NuShake Roofing the same year. NuShake itself has been roofing California homes since 1976, when Doug Heath founded it.

2. GAF Master Elite — GAF says only 2% of roofers in North America earn it. Lets NuShake offer GAF's Golden Pledge warranty on qualifying GAF installations: up to 50 years on materials and 25 years on workmanship.
3. GAF Solar Certified — factory training for solar roofing installations.
4. Owens Corning Preferred — OC-authorized installer.
5. GAF Gold Elite (Commercial) — GAF commercial roofing certification.
