Tracy is a fast-growing city of about 94,000 in San Joaquin County. It sits at the junction of I-205 and I-580. It's a major Bay Area commuter town. Many Tracy residents work in the Tri-Valley or the Bay Area. They drive west on I-580 each morning.
Tracy has both older neighborhoods and newer growth areas. Edgewood and the master-planned areas to the west have homes built from the 1990s on. Many of these homes are now 20 to 25 years old.
